A rainy day is a day when it rains all day long without any break. A rainy day is not a happy day for all.During rainy season it rains incessantly.When it rains in torrents for the whole day, the day looks gloomy. The roads under water. They become muddy and slippery. The rain drench the passers-by. The cattle keep standing.Birds keep sitting on the trees.The poor and the day labourers do not like the day,because they can not go out for their livelihood. Some of them starve. A rainy day is a pleasant day for a rich man. He sits on the sofa and listens to ta music.He does not go of doors.He enjoys perfect rest at home.The day is a pleasant day to the school going children. They can remain in their houses and need not go to their school.They enjoy full rest at home.
