Traffic Jam

When too many vehicles of various kinds move along a narrow street or road at a time, they create traffic jam. It is a regular affair in the cities and towns. It is a problem of daily life. Sometimes people have to wait on the roads for several hours on account of traffic jam. It kills our valuable times. Sometimes it causes great sufferings to a serious patient being carried in an ambulance. A few days back i fell a victim to a traffic jam in front of the Monihar Cinema Hall. When i along with my younger brother was talking to our maternal grandmother to Sadar Hospital, Jessore. vehicles of different kinds appeared there through the four diversion road and created a heavy jam. There was no scope of retreat. So, we had to wait at least half and hour. The patient was groaning and we gave up hope of her recovery. However the traffic police tried their best and cleared the road and helped us to leave the place. People who were going to their respective offices suffered much. Because they had no times in hands to reach their offices in time. To overcome this problem,the existing narrow roads and streets should be broadened.One way movement of vehicles should be introduced. Besides, the traffic authority needs to be more careful to enforce traffic rules.
